One thing leads to another

This……..IMG_3776is now turning into this……IMG_3785The warp is hand spun merino wool hand dyed with rubber rabbitbrush and iron to give it a light celery green color (the camera doesn’t pick up the true color.)  I am weaving it on a Schacht Flip rigid heddle loom.  It wants to be a scarf.

Stay tuned for more at My Yellow Swing.

See ya,

I love my handspun on the loom-the shifting colors are highlighted beautifully!

  2. Hi – could I use your photo of your sheep tapestry in progess on the Facegroup page of the S.E. Ohio Fibershed? It nicely illustrates our purpose.

Thank you so much for asking. However, I do not have a FaceBook account and do not support Facebook. I started My Yellow Swing blog so that I did not have to use any other social media format. I have since moved on to another hobby – stained glass and will be posting my projects again. I hope you understand. Take care and stay safe. Sandy O’
