Tapestry Fun

I have two Schacht tapestry looms which I sample different yarns and learn new techniques.  I REALLY like free form tapestry weaving with no exact pattern, just go with the flow.  This small wall hanging uses the bulky yarn from the table runner I made last month.  I love how the hatching looks and how the different colors blend.IMG_2560 IMG_2561The next one is using “sample” yarns given to me by Valley, fellow Yarn Babe.  I like the challenge of working the different textures and colors into one piece.  I will weave another five to six inches.IMG_2563 IMG_2565Last week, Pat and I took a hike up Ramsey Canyon Nature Conservatory.  It started out a beautiful morning, but ……..IMG_2550 IMG_2547…….we needed to keep a watchful eye on the skies.IMG_2558We made it back without getting wet.

See ya at My Yellow Swing,
