The monsoon rains have started in Southern Arizona. The normal (but really, what is normal any more?) would be hot and sticky in the early morning, then the clouds start to pile up and around middle afternoon, the sky would dump buckets of rain. An hour later, the sun is back with slightly cooler temperatures. However, we are getting thunderstorms during the night, hail sometimes and it is hot and sticky all the time. This is what I saw yesterday around seven in the morning .It started raining around noon and didn’t stop until early evening. The water is badly needed and I am not really complaining ( well, yeah, I am).
Since I have time to spend inside, I am spinning alpaca fleece. I am slowly working my way through three fleeces from the alpaca shearing.
