New Projects Started and Some Even Finished

I finally decided on my next tapestry loom project.  It’s a revisited weaving from my very first tapestry design.  This was made on a Schacht Tapestry loom.  IMG_1429This time I’m using my hand spun yarn, most in natural fleece color.  I still need to enlarge the cartoon, but here is my first draft of Sandhill Cranes in Southeastern Arizona.IMG_2277I’m using my large Ashford tapestry loom with 2 ply wool warp yarn.IMG_2274 IMG_2276Another project that I started and finished were these really cute bottle sweaters.  I found the free pattern on Raverly.  Super easy to knit and a good way to use up small balls of yarn.  IMG_2104I had some extra inkle loom straps and made another (yes, another one) project bag.IMG_2260And for Linda, a picture of Duffy taken with my iPad.  He’s always a “Work in Progress”.IMG_0019Happy Thanksgiving to all!

See ya,

Sandy

  1. The tapestries are beautiful-both the finished and the one to come! Who wouldn’t enjoy filling that project bag!

It’s fun seeing what you’ve been working on and the tapestry in progress! They’re all great! Have a wonderful weekend! 🙂

  3. How cool to weave an original design tapestry with your own hand-spun yarns. You are one talented lady.
