I’ve Been Busy!

I hadn’t realized how long it has been since I added a new post.  Sorry for the delay!  But I have been busy!  I started some toe-up socks.  I’m going to be flying to Kentucky soon and I wanted some cool looking socks to wear through  airport  security!  No matchy-matchy for me.

IMG_2145I finished the braided rug for the bathroom.IMG_2143

And made a chair pad for the computer chair.  IMG_2142

Next in line is a scarf I am weaving on my rigid heddle loom.  I am using my hand spun wool, solid maroon for warp and Romney hand dyed for the weft.  IMG_2144

Pat and I took a hike up Brown Canyon during a break in the monsoon.IMG_2133Everything is green.  The morning glories are everywhere.IMG_2115Here’s a view from the bottom of the trail.IMG_2126

I’m not sure what the yellow flowers are called, but they are pretty.IMG_2124

My garden is still going strong.IMG_2135

And for some reason, Duffy has been camera shy.  This is the best I could do today!IMG_2136

See ya,

  1. You have some wonderful works going on! I really like the socks-you are brave to make them different-I admire you for that! (I’ve only done it a few times! lol) The weaving is perfect, the braided chair pads and rugs are a great accomplishment! I would like to take a trip around your paths-beautiful views!
