I can’t believe it’s the end of May! Where does the time go? And what is it with this weather? In Southern Arizona, it should be HOT this time of year. Today, we are having high winds and mid 70’s temperature. I shouldn’t complain with the rest of the country having really unusual or severe weather.
Last weekend, Pat and I rode the Cycle Sierra Vista. It is a casual fun ride for bike riders to discover all the city bike paths and lanes. There were routes for 9 miles, 15 miles and 25 miles. It was a beautiful day!
This next photo is for “The Woolydaisy” who has a “Will Knit for Dream Bike” blog. This is my “Dream Bike”.
I’m at the border of the shawl I’ve been knitting FOREVER. It is a lace knitting pattern that I hope I have enough yarn to finish.
Here’s a couple more project bags with my Kumihimo braids.
Another knitting blogger, Acorn to Oak, is learning to weave on an inkle loom. I got inspired to try some different patterns,
This will either be a belt or straps for a tote bag.
I’m getting very close to having all the yarn spun for my next tapestry weaving project. This yarn is going to be part of the sky.
Hope everyone has a safe weekend!
See ya,
Sandy
Lots to admire here! The kumihimo braids are gorgeous and the sky fiber you are spinning is delightful!
Enjoy that wonderful weather while you can (except the wind…Ugh…we’ve had way too much of that this year). Sounds like you had a fun bike ride! I love those project bags. And, your inkle weaving! It’s really nice! Have a great weekend! 🙂
Sandy, thanks for the bike photo. Love your bike and love that green color! Your shawl is beautiful too!
I love the color of that batt you are spinning. What is it and where did you get it?
Wow, lots of beauty and inspiration here! I am happy you stopped by my blog and welcomed me to Arizona.
