Yes, this is my hand.   My right hand to be more accurate.  Image

Last Tuesday, after posting the “Q” photos, I started making lunch.  I was using a new mandolin, slicing eggplant (without using the safety holder–stupid, stupid, STUPID!).  Without going into great detail, after three hours at the emergency room, there is no bone damage,  1/8 inch of my finger tip is gone, but I should recover okay.  AAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!

I was hoping to make it through a whole year without finger injuries.  Last year, I managed to sew through the end of a finger on my left hand.  A month later, I was helping with alpaca shearing, and had another finger tip nipped by the clippers.  My family thinks I should be banned from any sharp objects.  Oh well, that’s life.

See ya!
