Goodness Gracious!! It’s the Letter G!

Living in the “Grand Canyon State”, I tried to find photos on a “Grand” scale.  Driving around town, there were no “Grand Openings”, the schools are closed, so no “Grandstand” shots, and I don’t drive a Jeep “Grand Cherokee”.  But I was able to score a “Grand Slam!…(Oh, that one hurt!)

This picture is a little old but I did take it at the Grand Canyon.Image

Great job! Your photos of the Grand Canyon and Granite Dells are awesome! You mountain bike? Me too! So fun! Your quilts are wonderful! I’ve never seen a monochromatic flower garden quilt. I love it! The fan one is spectacular. And, granny squares…perfect! Have fun with “H”! 🙂

This whole alphabet Photo Challenge Benita started is great!! The brown Grandmother’s Flower Garden quilt was one of my first quilts. I couldn’t afford new fabric, so I used some leftover drapery fabric.

My mountain bikes rides are very easy, if a car can drive down a dirt road, then it’s perfect for me. I’ve taken some bad spills on the more technical trails and it takes too long for me to recover. So I ride easy and enjoy the view. Sandy

Keep up the great work – can’t wait to see your H’s!

It is one of my favorites of the Grand Canyon. I hope to pass on my passion for fiber art to my nieces. Thanks for you kind comments! I really enjoy reading your posts!

What wonderful photos – and what awesome quilts! I got to the Sisters Oregon quilt show for the first time last weekend, and am blown away at the artistry and creativity of quilters.
